This week's devotional that spoke to me was the one titled
Walk and Faint not based on Isaiah 40:25- 31. We all know
verse 31 and we probably quote it often, yet the verse I like
is verse 29...." He giveth power to the faint; and to them that
have no might he increaseth strength." A dear senior saint at
church gave me this verse one time when we were on the phone
and I have been thinking it over a lot....
How often do we feel like quitting? Oh, it is in those times we
need to rely on the Lord for strength and power to carry on.
Another verse to go with that is Galatians 6:9 telling us to not
grow weary in well doing but continue on because we will reap
IF we don't faint. (Paraphrased)
So let us keep pressing on, knowing the prize is before us!
