A Day of Family Fun!

We had a rather quiet Christmas Day....After opening presents and seeing
Trevor, Olivia & Reuben off to his parents, we had a relaxing day. But we
decided to do something on Saturday....

Stop #1 ~ Cabela's !
  This may not have been the smartest idea, but it did get us out of the house!
  And we DID have fun.....or should I say Erin & Josiah had fun!

Then there was the shooting gallery....who was the best shot? I'll never tell !!
We had fun looking at camping stuff...talking about how we need to go camping
again....sitting in a tent, taking a break from the crowds! (I wish I would have
taken a picture in there...) And speaking of crowds...it was SUPER crowded....
Terry & Josiah couldn't even get near the gun counter to see the guns! It was at
that point we decided to leave....

Stop #2 ~Hawk Mountain Bird Sanctuary
   Since it was already past lunch AND damp & chilly... Erin & Josiah decided to
   sit in the car on this one. Terry & I went to check things out, but after seeing the
   $9 entry fee....we just went into the building, looked around a little and left.

Stop #3 ~ Arby's
   Yes, we finally stopped and had lunch! It was good to sit, talk, eat and laugh!...As
   Erin & Josiah reminded me that they are not still 5 and like trains when I asked
   if they were interested in going to the Reading Train Museum that was right there!

Stop #4 ~ Slick Willy's 
   This place was A LOT of fun! I didn't even do anything but watch everyone else
   have fun! It is located inside an old warehouse and it is full of fun things to do....
   but the main attraction is go-carting! Terry & Josiah signed up for one race, but 
   they had to wait 2 hours to do it! It was fun to just sit there and watch others go
   at it though! They finally did get a turn and they did about the same, dad was a 
   little faster and finished one position ahead.....

    It was a lot of fun and our day was almost over......

Stop # 5 ~ The Redbox at Turkey Hill
   We ended our day with a stop to pick up the movie War Room.....which brought 
   us to our final destination...

Stop # 6 ~ Home Sweet Home!
   After such a long day, you would think it was late until we got home....it was just
   6:00! At about 7:30 we watched the movie together.... a perfect end to a great day! 
   There's nothing like spending time having fun with family!
